Kurt Wüthrich (born October 4, 1938 in Aarberg, Canton of Bern) is a Swiss chemist and Nobel Chemistry laureate. He was awarded the Louisa Gross Horwitz Prize from Columbia University in 1991 and half of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2002 for \"his development of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for determining the three-dimensional structure of biological macromolecules in solution\".
