Scott Kelly

Scott Joseph Kelly (born February 21, 1964) is an American astronaut and a retired U.S. Navy Captain. Kelly was commander of the International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 26. Kelly\'s identical twin brother, Mark Kelly, is also an astronaut. The Kelly brothers are the only siblings to have both traveled in space. Kelly received his commission via the Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) following graduation from the State University of New York Maritime College in May 1987. He was designated a Naval Aviator in July 1989 at Naval Air Station Chase Field in Beeville, Texas. Kelly graduated from Mountain High School in 1982. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College[16] in 1987, and a M.S. degree in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1996. Selected by NASA in April 1996.
